maybe it is...

that it is not a matter of images, but of summits themselves. what new images can they produce? what can the interviews say that weren't said before? is there a new point to be made?

one of the projects i set out to do was a two-question interview. just two questions: who is a companero? who isn't? even that, which i thought could be a question to push people out of their comfort zones, doesn't seem to have done it so far. what i would long for is a talk show called 'strategy' (you could also call it 'risk', and have people actually talking over a board with a world map), where people would have to answer not the question 'if you were in charge for a day, what would you do to the world', but 'how do you see the positions in the map? and if this is so, what can you do to move them? what are the immediate pieces you would have to move in order to do so? how would you do it'?

maybe a tv show could do something about the debates we still haven't had.
